ANNA STEPHENS:
Anna Stephens is a 28 year old UK-based writer of novellas and poetry and has a full length novel manuscript she is currently in the process of revising for submission to publishers and agents.
She has previously been published in two issues of Libertine Magazine, Birds on the Line literary ezine, the Word Weavers Anthology 2007, Of Shadow and Substance, Volume One (a 2008 fiction anthology) and Issue 1 of The Thinking Man’s Crumpet. A reviewer of her piece in this magazine wrote: "Cassandra by Anna Stephens is hot, erotic SF which reads as if it was written for misogynistic males brought up reading Stag and Mickey Spillane... so naturally I loved it."
In August 2008 her latest piece will feature in the August edition of NVF (New Voices in Fiction) magazine, available for download or print purchasing.
When not working or writing, Anna studies with the Open University for a BA in Literature, practices Shotokan Karate and reads avidly. She lives with her partner of three years, an enormous book and movie collection, and a vivid imagination and looks forward to the day she is grown up enough to have her very own beagle puppy she can name Buster.
EMILY JONES:
My name's Emily Jones, I'm 36 and from Falmouth in Cornwall. Mostly I write songs and play guitar. I also write for and edit the music satire webzine "Popblast!" (http://www.windypops.co.uk). This is my first official attempt at writing a "proper" story, although I've done a fair bit of comedy writing in the past.

SAM CROSBY
I'm married to a truck driving musician, and I love horror films, knitting, rock music, Aussie white wine, cheese, and reading anything by Fay Weldon - and I often try to combine all six at the same time! I've been writing short stories for most of my life, but this is the first one to get in print. I generally work in the horror genre but it was fun to try and combine that with a touch of erotica
SHARON WASHINGTON
"Sharon has been writing stories in her head for many years, but hadn't written them down since schooldays, until a friend and colleague introduced her to the like-minded online community of fans of horror fiction and film. She lives in Lancashire with a very tolerant best friend and housemate and two dogs."
TIM JEFFREYS
Tim Jeffreys began writing and drawing at an early age. After completing a
degree in Graphic Arts, he decided that writing would be his main focus.
That his short stories seem normal and natural to him is perhaps some
indication of his skewed and unusual perspective on life. He draws on
elements of horror, fairytale, and black comedy in order to explore the
darker side of the human condition and find the ridiculous at the heart of
everyday reality.
Tim has produced and sold his audio books of short stories worldwide. In
2008 he self-published his first print book of short stories, "The Garden
Where Black Flowers Grow". This was follow by the novella "The Orange
Grove". A second book of short stories, "The Scenery of Dreams", is
planned for 2009. For more information visit his website at:

Andy lives in Leeds with his girlfriend Heidi, cat Eric and a barrel-load
of books. He lives in fear of anyone discovering the skeletons in his
closet; friends could make zillions should Andy ever fulfil his ambition
and 'make it' as a writer. Their salacious stories would be snapped up by
the slavering editors of many a tabloid.
